20mm Gun Gallery Damage on USS Hancock (CV-19)

Isamu Kamitake's Senbaku A6M5 night fighter crashed into USS Hancock (CV-19) after breaking up under heavy anti-aircraft fire. The fuselage came down on the flight deck, while debris started a fire in the 20mm gun gallery on the port side of the ship. November 25, 1944. Click on the image to enlarge.
