“my life is more affected
by what I learned,”

Frances Choi (Korea)
Caitlin Cisek in Day of the Kamikaze

“After my visit to the USS Intrepid, I would have to say that my life is more affected by what I learned there that day. The men on the ship seemed very affected and very involved in what they went through. They would meet for gatherings and they tell lots of their stories, and things like that, and it just seems like that’s part of American culture today. We remember that there were men who went to the Pacific War and that has affected me.”
